"Then I heard the the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, Here I am. Send me!"
-Isaiah 6:8
Throughout my life I have always enjoyed serving others. During my high school years I spent a lot of time spreading God's love in my community as well as abroad. I always envisioned myself becoming a student missionary when I went to college. Throughout my first few years of college I continued serving in the local community, however desires to become a student missionary faded. At the beginning of my junior year I decided that I was going to finish college in 4 years, meaning no detours. However God had other plans. Shortly after my personal declaration, I felt God leading me to become a student missionary. I asked God for a few signs to make sure this is what He really wanted for me, and He fulfilled them all. The road to becoming a student missionary presented me with several bumps, some of which tempting me to give up. However when I felt like it was time to throw in the towel, God came through in an amazing way. He has called and opened the doors for me to serve as a student missionary in Poland. There have been several significant moments where I have been reassured that this is where He wants me to go.
Though you may not be able to join me physically, I hope that through this blog you may be able to get a good glimpse at what I am experiencing in my journey as a student missionary.
Prayers and support are continually appreciated.
XO,
Renee.
